South Lake Avenue Annual Holidayfest

Kick off the holidays with a family fun day at The Shops on Lake Avenue! This free holiday festival will feature in-store specials and promotions at over 50 South Lake Pasadena merchants, photos with Santa, roaming characters, horse and carriage rides, live musical performances, carolers, holiday crafts, kids activities, a themed scavenger hunt, giveaways and more! The special outdoor performances include indie synth group DWNTWN, and the unique bluegrass, blues soul collective The Dustbowl Revival. One Colorado Happy Holidays Party

One Colorado wants you to start your holiday season with them! Enjoy a night of dancing to live music from the Jazz band Leftover Cuties. There will be a photo booth to capture the holiday memories and mini cupcakes and milk for that sweet treat craving. The One Colorado Charles Cherniss Tournament of Toys collection drive, which provides gifts to 3,000 disadvantaged children throughout the San Gabriel Valley will also be kicked off that night, so don’t forget to bring a toy! Artisanal LA Holiday Market

Live on Green – Free Family Festival in Pasadena

Be one of the first to experience this free festival in the three days leading up to the Rose Parade! For the first time Live on Green will take place and feature different themed activities honoring the history of Pasadena, the Rose Parade, and the National Parks Service. Take the kids to The Family fun Zone and play games, watch street performers, and eat at the sidewalk cafes that have kid-friendly food and drinks. Don’t worry, there is also food and beverages just for adults provided by Chef Ben Ford and other special guests. Don’t miss the live entertainment: strolling musicians, sing-a-longs, flash performances, and bands recording songs in the Jam Van! Seventh Annual Harvest Moon Dinner & Art Auction

Thinking of ways to contribute to our children of the future and enjoy time with others that have the same goal in mind? Be a part of success and join the rest of the community at the Seventh Annual Harvest Moon and Art Auction.

The Professional Child Development Associates is hosting the Seventh Annual Harvest Moon Dinner & Art Auction in order to promote the goal of providing high quality services to children and young adults with autism and other developmental challenges. It will be held on Saturday, September 19th at the home of Mario and Therese Molina in South Pasadena. Guests will be able to participate in a silent auction, enjoy appetizers while listening to music performed by the Pasadena Symphony Quartet. Guests will be served a very delicious dinner prepared by the celebrated Chef Claud Beltran of Claud and Co. The PCDA will also provide guests with a presentation of accomplishments of the organization, along with a live action. Carolyn Watson will be this year’s honored recipient of the PCDA’s Community Service Award. Watson is an internationally recognized designer, restoration specialist, philanthropist, as well as being a parent of a PCDA alumnus. Sponsors such as Lockton Insurance, Odom and Kate Stamps, The Harvey and Ellen Knell Foundation, The Burketriolo Family Foundation and United Agencies Inc., and among others will be present along with 300 other guests. PCDA is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of multidisciplinary screening, evaluation, therapy and specialized services for children and young adults, birth through 21 years of age, and their families, when there is any concern regarding development or behavior. The Seventh Annual Harvest Moon Dinner & Art Auction and its funds will be provided into needed services for children and young adults with autism and other developmental challenges of now and the future.
